Ce nouveau morceau, qui paraît quelques mois après "Reprogram", est le second à avoir été composé avec le nouveau guitariste de la bande, James Hewitt. Certes, le groupe perd son accordage très bas marqué par la guitare à huit cordes de Timfy James mais gagne en efficacité de par le choix des riffs et la voix de Jot Maxi qui semble ne pas avoir encore exploité toutes ses capacités, ce dernier étant à la base un rappeur de Grime mais qui pourrait tout aussi bien faire du Métal.
On notera aussi les deux incroyables couplets coups-de-poing de Jermaine Hurley qui semble ici marcher dans les pas de Zack de la Rocha en balançant un véritable pamphlet contre la guerre en Syrie, la vente d'armes de destruction massive ou encore Trump. Enfin, on peut souligner diverses références dont The Dillinger Escape Plan ou encore Akira. Bref, beaucoup de choses sont dites avec ce texte, la vidéo comportant en plus des messages s'affichant à l'écran avec de nombreux chiffres et les sources d'où ils proviennent. Hacktivist sort là un lourd morceau dénonciateur et engagé, servi par un riff et du flow assassins : tout ce qu'on pouvait attendre de mieux du combo britannique !
