On va pas s'mentir : depuis que Brian "Head" Welch a fait son retour au sein de Korn en 2013, le groupe a su remonter la pente d'une bien belle façon afin de faire oublier une période troublée et synonyme de mauvais disques.

Avec The Serenity Of Suffering - le douzième album de la bande, sorti en octobre 2016 et en écoute intégrale sur Youtube), Korn s'est assuré un sacré succès avec une tournée gigantesque et des clips vus plusieurs millions de fois (plus de 15 millions pour "Rotting In Vain", sorti il y a moins d'un an). Pour "Black Is The Soul", l'atmosphère est soignée, la photo aussi, le noir est de rigueur et on a l'agréable sensation de (re)découvrir un groupe qui a su traverser les décennies en conservant son identité tout en mûrissant. Solide !
