[Vidéo] Arcane Roots : "Matter" (Revel)

La nature morte, dans la peinture, est un genre artistique suffisamment connu et répandu pour que tout le monde sache plus ou moins de quoi il s'agit. Est-il possible d'adapter ce genre à la vidéo ? Ce clip des britanniques d'Arcane Roots pour une version alternative de "Matter" pourrait être un élément de réponse.

La version originale de "Matter" figure sur l'album Melancholia Hymns paru en septembre 2017 via Easy Life Records (en écoute intégrale sur Youtube). Un an plus tard, en septembre 2018, le trio originaire de la région londonienne sortira un nouvel EP baptisé Landslide dont le morceau éponyme a été présenté accompagné d'une vidéo en juin 2018. Ce nouveau recueil présentera des versions alternatives de plusieurs morceaux de l'album paru en 2017, à l'image de ce revel à l'approche atmosphérique et synthwave fortement poussée et aux textes différents. Et mine de rien, la combinaison de cette musique et ces images, c'est beau ! Une nouvelle forme d'art ?
