[Vidéo] Crystal Lake : "Aeon" (Paroles / Lyrics)

Le Japon a toujours été un pays à part, notamment parce que c'est une île mais aussi parce que la culture là-bas a toujours eu quelque chose de singulier, une identité propre. Certains diront même que les japonais ont une longueur d'avance et vivent déjà dans le futur... Ce n'est pas un groupe comme Crystal Lake qui ferait dire le contraire tant la formation originaire de Tokyo semble être attachée dernièrement à dépasser les limites de son Métalcore et à dépeindre un monde dominé par les machines.

Après "The Circle" il y a quelques mois, c'est un nouveau titre baptisé "Aeon" qui s'entiche d'une vidéo (il est d'ailleurs fait référence à ce fameux cercle dans les textes). Le morceau est brutal, électronique, déstructuré (au premier abord) et démontre la capacité qu'a Crystal Lake à produire quelques chose de singulier. C'est assez perturbant mais le fond du message a au moins le mérite d'être clair. "Aeon" est extrait du prochain album du groupe, Helix, qui paraîtra le 15 février 2019 via Sharptone Records. Dans un genre similaire, en France, Titans Fall Harder distille un Métalcore électronique où la machine a elle aussi une place de choix.
