John Butler se sent bien chez lui. C'est à peu de chose près le meilleur moyen de résumer son dernier album Home (sous la bannière du John Butler Trio) paru le 28 septembre 2018.

Après une vidéo pour le titre éponyme, John Butler a proposé deux vidéos pour "Wade In The Water" et "Just Call" sous la forme de deux plans-séquences qui se suivent et où on accompagne le chanteur-guitariste sur son skate puis escaladant un arbre, le tout en slow motion pour une balade ensoleillée. Une sorte de déclaration d'amour à ce qui semble être son lieu de vie et qu'il considère sans doute comme la "campagne". En tout cas, ça ressemble davantage à un quartier résidentiel relativement bien situé et où la nature semble avoir grillé sous le soleil. Mais chacun son ressenti, hein.
